Our Studio Front Loading Kilns offer both superior craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal, featuring top-tier insulation materials and sturdy steel-framed construction. Equipped
with a chimney for moisture release and Kanthal wire elements, they ensure precision and reliability. Standardized with a K-Type thermocouple and VT-36 programmable controller,
these kilns provide effortless operation.

With a maximum temperature of 1300°C and powder-coated steel components, they promise durability and corrosion resistance. The arched roof design enhances structural

VT-36 Controller
renowned within the South African market for its ruggedness and reliability. The VT36 is standard
on all Van Tuyl Kilns, it can also seamlessly integrate into most other kiln brands, serving as both a
replacement and an upgrade.

• Capacity to store 36 Programs (for ceramic, glass, jewellery and industry).
• Comes with 12 pre-installed ceramic firing programs, serving as a helpful starting point (note: programs may vary and can be easily edited).
• Each program allows for multiple Ramp Ups, Ramp Downs, Set Temperature Points, and Soaks.
• A Delay feature for scheduling program start times, particularly useful in areas with power shortages.
